Egypt’s President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi has shortly arrived in Abu Dhabi for a two-day official visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
He was received by Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces at the airport.
President Sisi’s visit to the UAE comes within the framework of the joint keenness to enhance the close brotherly relations, cooperation and consultation on various issues related to promoting joint Arab action.
During this visit, El Sisi will discuss, with Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the strong relations and the strategic bilateral cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
They also will discuss the latest developments on the Arab, regional and international arenas, as well as the issues of common interest.
Meanwhile, the trade exchange between the two countries hit about $ 3 billion in 2018.
UAE investors are seeking to participate and benefit from promising and feasible investment opportunities in Egypt and continue offer innovative investment solutions to both partners and customers. The move will boost investment in Egypt, increase the rates of direct investment, and positively reflects on the national economy.
It is noteworthy that the UAE companies operating in Egypt reached 1,065 in March 2019, compared to 923 companies in 2017. UAE has been ranked first globally in terms of foreign direct investment in Egypt.
Yesterday, Prominent businessman Mohamed Aboul Enein, the chairman of the Egyptian-European Business Council, hailed President El Sisi's efforts in building modern Egypt and achieving development.
Addressing “Egypt Economic Summit”( EES), Aboul Enein also expressed his gratitude to Egyptian armed forces and police who always sacrifice their souls for the sake of their homeland.
Egypt is moving towards broader horizons and ambitions,” the businessman said, noting that Egypt has developed future visions to achieve remarkable progress befitting its status.
