President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi emphasized, on Saturday, that the June 30 Revolution was a revolution against terrorism and extremism.
"It was also a revolution for construction and modernization, and a revolution by the people to realize their dream of establishing the New Republic—a modern, industrially and agriculturally advanced Egypt that attracts investments, and leads in education, healthcare, and services, alongside qualifying specialized cadres. In essence, it is the state that befits Egypt's ancient history and enjoys the status it deserves among nations," Sisi added during the inauguration ceremony of the State's Strategic Command Headquarters in the New Administrarive Capital (NAC).
Moreover, Sisi noted that from his first day in office, he refused to halt the wheel of development and construction, adding that he resolved to press ahead with the modernization process hand-in-hand with the battle against terrorism, without delay or retreat, ensuring that Egypt continues on its path toward the future without interruption and compensates for lost ground on the road to progress.
It is worth mentioning that, the Strategic Command Headquarters of the Egyptian State represents one of the most prominent strategic projects implemented by the state within the framework of the New Republic projects.
It serves as a unified center aimed at enhancing the administrative efficiency of state institutions, supporting the decision-making system, and developing command and control capabilities through an infrastructure based on the latest digital technologies and modern communication systems.
The project aims to unify the headquarters of the General Command of the Armed Forces, ministries, and sovereign entities within an integrated central entity.
This integration contributes to elevating the level of coordination among various state institutions, accelerating response mechanisms to crises and emergencies, and achieving the highest levels of synergy in managing strategic portfolios.
The project was entirely planned and executed by Egyptian hands in cooperation with national companies, as part of the state's plan to develop its institutions and build a modern administrative infrastructure within the New Administrative Capital.
The Strategic Command Headquarters spans an area of approximately 22,000 feddans, with a total built-up area of about 4.7 million square meters, making it one of the largest defense and administrative complexes in the region.
