President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received, on Sunday, Jordan’s Crown Prince, Al Hussein bin Abdullah II.
According to the official spokesperson for the Egyptian Presidency, the Crown Prince conveyed the greetings of his brother, King Abdullah II of Jordan, which President El-Sisi warmly welcomed.
He reaffirmed Egypt’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations with Jordan across all sectors to serve the interests and aspirations of both nations.
Sisi also praised the progress and prosperity Jordan has witnessed under King Abdullah II's leadership.
The meeting also addressed the situation in the Palestinian territories.
Moreover, discussions focused on Egypt’s ongoing efforts to implement the ceasefire agreement in Gaza, facilitate the exchange of hostages and detainees, and ensure the delivery of humanitarian aid.
The Jordanian Crown Prince expressed his country's deep appreciation for Egypt’s pivotal role in stabilizing the ceasefire, preventing further bloodshed, and restoring calm in the region.
Furthermore, both sides underscored the urgent need to initiate Gaza’s reconstruction without the displacement of Palestinians.
