CAIRO, Nov.10 (SEE)- President Abdel Fatah El Sisi received Saturday a phone call from Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte. Both leaders discussed a number of topics pertinent to bilateral relations.
Sisi and Conte also exchanged views on regional issues of mutual interest, primarily the situation in Libya.
"President Sisi confirmed Egypt's support for various efforts aimed at reaching a political solution to the Libyan crisis, in line with the principles of Egypt's unwavering position in support of Libya's unity, national institutions and respect for the will of its people, so as to restore stability and security in the Middle East," presidential statement read.
