President Abdel Fattah El Sisi stressed the necessity of exiting all foreign mercenaries from other countries and ending foreign interference in the Arabs' domestic affairs, according to Presidency Spokesperson Bassam Rady.

"Sisi delivered a speech via video conference to the heads of the "Arab Intelligence Forum" bodies, within the framework of the Forum's extraordinary meeting, currently being held in Cairo," said Rady.

Sisi: Interference in Arabs' Affairs Must End

The President welcomed the delegations participating in the "Arab Intelligence Forum", praising their efforts to enrich the work of the Forum since its inception.

The Forum is unique of its kind regionally and seeks to enhance the joint Arab cooperation and security information through the initiatives launched by the Forum's members during the last period for joint security work, and the exchange of assessments in a framework of complete transparency about the sources of threats surrounding the Arab region.

"Sisi stressed the principle of joint responsibility in confronting the challenges facing the region, especially the phenomenon of terrorism and extremist ideology," the spokesman noted.

He added that such phenomena require comprehensive approaches in dealing with regional crises, most notably focusing on ending foreign interference in the affairs of the Arab countries and respecting the decision and will of peoples and the sovereignty of states.

Sisi stressed that Egypt has not and will not spare any effort in helping its brothers to bring their country to safety, through a comprehensive political solution that includes simultaneous steps and procedures based on the unification of the military institution, exiting foreign forces and mercenaries, ending the phenomenon of armed militias, and activating the will of the peoples.
