President Abdel Fattah El Sisi inspected on Sunday the strategic command and control center in the New Administrative Capital, according to Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady.
He was accompanied by Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of Defense and Military Production Gen. Mohamed Zaki, Chief-of-Staff Lt. Gen. Mohmed Farid and a host of senior military officials.

The center is being built using world-class specifications in line with the country's future vision.
During his tour, Sisi was given a thorough briefing on the center's components as well as the latest progress of construction, engineering, and infrastructure works, including ICT and security systems.

Sisi applauded the diligent efforts exerted to establish the center's buildings and facilities and equip them with all necessary supplies within the planned time frame.
He also emphasized the state's commitment to boost its capabilities in all domains and cope with new technological and scientific developments to ensure national security and territorial integrity.

Extending over an area of 22,000 feddans, the center aims to control state institutions, streamline their workflow and assist in preparing for any states of emergency or crises.
