CAIRO, Jan. 26 (SEE) - President
Abdel Fattah El Sisi inspected several spots in the New Administrative Capital
on Saturday such as the Arts and Culture City and the new Opera House building
to follow up with the recent developments of these projects, according to
Presidential Spokesperson Bassam Rady.
The spokesperson said that the
culture city is built according to the highest international standards and the
finest architectural designs.
"This city will be a beacon
of artistic, intellectual and cultural creativity," Rady illustrated.
It will be built on an area of
about 127 acres and will include a number of theaters and galleries for contemporary
of music, painting, sculpture, handicrafts and others.
For the Opera House, as an
essential part of the City of Arts and Culture, it's planned to be the largest
opera house in the Middle East.
It has a main hall of about 2,000
people, as well as two music and drama theaters, a center for arts and
creativity and wax museum, according to the spokesperson.
"President Sisi hailed the
standard time for construction in the new administrative capital, harmony and
solidarity among the various institutions of the state concerned in this project,"
he added.
Rady revealed that Sisi stressed
that the Egyptian people do appreciate these mega projects, which complement
the process of construction and development in the country; especially because they
are based on knowledge, planning and unique implementation.
"These projects will meet the
Egyptians' expectations in keeping pace with the process of civilization and
provide a promising future for current and future generations," Rady
affirmed.
