On Tuesday, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi inspected the Military Academy. He attended the admission interviews held for students applying for admission into the military service academies and institutes, according to Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady.
The president was received by Lieutenant General Muhammad Zaki, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of Defense and Military Production, and Lt. Gen. Muhammad Farid, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces.
El-Sisi confirmed that the Armed Forces picks up its members from all segments of the population stressing that the admission process is characterized by objectivity and integrity.
He also praised the candidates for their eagerness to defend their homeland and its stability asserting that the current development of the Armed Forces requires the selection of fighters capable of accomplishing missions under any circumstances.
The spokesman added that the President discussed with candidates some internal and external affairs, Egyptian history and ongoing development accomplishments in different sectors.
Later on, Sisi expressed his happiness over the candidate’s awareness on variables that may influence Egypt’s national security.
Sisi also stressed that students of military colleges and institutes, along with their fellow colleagues from civil universities, form Egypt's hope and aspiration for a better future in the face of all risks and challenges.
He affirmed that Egypt is preparing future generations at the highest levels of awareness through making utmost efforts to develop scientific curricula. to be in line with the challenges the country faces.
