Sisi Inspects Masa Resort in New Alamein City

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi inspected, on Sunday, Masa resort in new Alamein City following Eid Al Adha prayers.

President Sisi was accompanied by prime minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouli, defense minister Mohamed Zaky and a number of other ministers.

Presidency Spokesperson Bassam Rady, said that the President listened to a detailed explanation about the resort, then he watched a documentary film on the project.

In addition, President El Sisi, on Sunday morning, inspected the greenhouse projects at Mohammed Naguib base, Rady revealed.

Noteworthy, the Egyptian head of state congratulated the Egyptian people on the occasion of Eid Al Adha.

The president said on his official page on Facebook: ”I congratulate the great people of Egypt,” wishing peace, security and good for Egypt.

President Sisi performed Al Adha prayer at Al Masa mosque in new Alamein city.

Sisi received cables of congratulations with kings، presidents and princes of Arab and Islamic countries on Eid al-Adha.

Eid al-Adha، called the “Sacrifice Feast”، is the second of two Muslim holidays celebrated worldwide each year.

The celebration honors the willingness of the Prophet Ibrahim to sacrifice his son Ismael at God’s will، but before sacrificing his son، God intervened by sending his angel Jibra’il (Gabriel)، who then put a sheep in his son’s place.

In the Islamic lunar calendar، Eid al-Adha falls on the 10th day of Dhu al-Hijjah.

Egyptian Muslim families usually gather to feast and exchange congratulations. They typically spend time celebrating in public places around the country.

The Eid holiday coincides with the annual hajj pilgrimage to Mecca in Saudi Arabia.
