President Abdel Fattah El Sisi discussed on Saturday economic and financial performance indicators for the current fiscal year 2020/2021 with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, Central Bank Governor Tarek Amer and Minister of Finance Mohamed Maait.
“Sisi followed up on the economic and financial performance indicators for the current fiscal year 2020/2021,” said Presidency Spokesperson Bassam Rady.
Rady added that the president called for the continuation of maintaining positive economic performance rates, reflected in the stability of the state’s monetary and economic conditions.
The meeting reviewed the continuous improvement in economic and financial performance indicators, and the extent of this reflection on the quality of public services, and the benefit of all segments of society from development returns, especially the neediest and most vulnerable groups.
Sisi and the officials also discussed the recent positive reports regarding the performance of the Egyptian economy by a number of international institutions and international rating agencies, including the report of the International Monetary Fund, the "Fitch" Foundation, and the "GB Morgan" Foundation.
