“The president will inaugurate several projects such as Bashayer Al-Khair (B) housing project, the triple sewage treatment plant in Borg Al Arab, Mahmoudiyah Axis development project, in addition to petroleum-related projects,” said Rady.

Mahmoudiyah Canal Road Axis Development Project is made at a length of 21 km and a width between 80 and 120 m. It can accommodate 6 to 8 lanes of traffic for each direction.

The project has faced many challenges, including the transfer of public facilities from water, sanitation, electricity, and natural gas networks.

Additionally, five bridges are implemented in the regions of Abu Suleiman and other areas such as Al Matar to connect the axis on the highway and Bashir Al-Khair (A) and Bashair Al-Khair (B) bridges to link Mahmoudiya axis with the coastal ring axis.
