Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi is set to inaugurate later today Tuesday a number of developmental national projects in Damietta governorate, according to presidency spokesman Ambassador Bassam Radi.

The inauguration ceremony will be attended by a galaxy of senior officials and public figures.

The projects include Damietta furniture city, multi-purpose station in Damietta port, a number of housing units, civil education center, and others.

It is worth mentioning that Damietta furniture city is one of the major national projects and a starting point for small and medium enterprises.

It is also considered the 1st and largest industrial zone specialized in the furniture industry and complementary industries in the Middle East to develop the furniture sector, one of the most promising industrial sectors in Egypt.

Last Sunday, El Sisi inaugurated Cairo International Exhibition on Telecommunication and Information Technology, Cairo ICT 2019.

It is the yearly event covering exhibition, conference, consumer and corporate activities organized by Trade fairs international. It represents a platform for major launches from the public and private sectors.

The exhibition aims at bringing professionals and senior executives to develop and improve their trade through the use of technology as well as to develop business relations and market awareness of new technology solutions offered by companies in various fields.
