President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received on Sunday, Viktor Orbán, Prime Minister (PM) of Hungary.
The meeting was attended by Lieutenant General Kamel El-Wazir, Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development, Minister of Industry and Transport, Dr. Amr Talaat, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, and Dr. Badr Abdel Atty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration and Expatriate Egyptian Affairs.
From the Hungarian side, the meeting was attended by Marcel Bíró, Chief National Security Advisor to the Hungarian Prime Minister, Gellért Jászai, Chairman of the 4iG Communications and IT Group and Ambassador-at-Large for International Trade Relations Development, Miklós Maróth, Chief Advisor to the Hungarian Prime Minister, and János Máté, Minister of State at the Prime Minister's Office.
Official Presidential Spokesman stated that Sisi welcomed Hungarian PM and his participation in the inauguration ceremony of the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), praising the growing momentum in bilateral relations between the two countries in recent years, especially since the elevation of relations to the level of Strategic Partnership in February 2023.
Moreover, Sisi noted that cooperation fields between the two countries include several areas, including energy, railway carriages, communications, and education.
