Cairo University declared that Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, honored the name and family of Dr. Hisham El-Saket, Vice-Dean of the Kasr El-Ainy Faculty of Medicine for Environmental Service and Community Development Affairs, calling him a White Army Martyr in the face of the emerging Corona virus.
Dr. Muhammad Othman Al-Khosht, Dean of the University of Cairo, pointed out that the University of Cairo is proud to present martyrs of the White Army to protect the masses of the Egyptian people, stressing that the late Dr. Hisham Al-Saket is one of the noble personalities and one of the most famous leaders of the University of Cairo.
Dr. Al-Khosht said the late martyr was fully aware of his responsibilities and would never hesitate to make every effort to help patients in the most difficult of circumstances.
The dean stated that, during the most difficult conditions, Dr. El Saket participated in most medical committees.
The dean emphasized that the White Army martyr 's family is under our protection from the moment the late Dr. Al-Saket was poisoned, saying: "It's a great coincidence that he left us on a Friday and President El Sisi honored him on a Friday."
He added that the university named the distinguished educational complex as a memorial under the name of Dr. Saket and that he played a role in the government.
The martyr 's father thanked President El Sisi, stressing their satisfaction with this distinction and stating that it's not just a tribute to Dr. Al-Saket, it's a distinction to all the "white army" as an encouragement to do more to deal with the Coronavirus.
