In celebration of the 51st anniversary of the glorious October victories, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, placed wreaths of flowers at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the graves of former Presidents Anwar Sadat and Gamal Abdel Nasser.

He was accompanied by General Abdel Meguid Saqr, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production, and General Ahmed Khalifa, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces.

The commemoration began at the memorial for the Armed Forces martyrs in Nasr City, where President El-Sisi laid a wreath in honor of Egypt's fallen heroes, with military bands performing the "Martyr's Salute" in a solemn tribute to the country's brave soldiers.

Following this, President El-Sisi paid respects at the tomb of the late President Anwar Sadat by placing a wreath and reciting Al-Fatiha in memory of his soul. The President also greeted members of Sadat’s family and exchanged handshakes with senior government officials and military leaders in attendance.

The President then visited the tomb of the late President Gamal Abdel Nasser at Kobri El-Qobba, where he similarly laid a wreath and recited Al-Fatiha in his honor before greeting members of Nasser's family.

In addition to these ceremonies, President El-Sisi chaired a meeting of the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces at the Strategic Command. He congratulated the Egyptian people and the Armed Forces on the anniversary of the October victories and held a comprehensive discussion with military leaders on matters related to national security across all strategic directions.

During the meeting, the President also addressed the current regional developments and commended the Armed Forces for their dedication and sacrifices, ensuring the nation’s security and stability. He concluded by expressing his deep appreciation for their relentless efforts in safeguarding Egypt's sovereignty and keeping the country safe.
