Sisi Honors Outgoing Attorney General with Prestigious Award

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi has presented the Republic Medal of the first class to the former Attorney General, Counselor Hamada El-Sawy, in recognition of his commendable efforts and contributions towards safeguarding the rights of Egyptian citizens and society at large.

The Republic Medal is a distinguished honor granted by the Egyptian state to individuals who have demonstrated exceptional contributions across various domains. The medal is categorized into two classes – the first and the second – based on the outstanding role and achievements of an individual or group.

Today, President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi also witnessed the swearing-in ceremony of Counselor Mohamed Shawky Ayad as the new Attorney General.

The official spokesperson for the Egyptian Presidency, Counselor Ahmed Fahmy, mentioned that President Sisi expressed his best wishes for the new Attorney General, hoping he would successfully undertake his duties. Sisi emphasized the importance of upholding the rule of law and diligent work to ensure citizens' rights in accordance with the constitution and the law.
