President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi departs today for Davos, Switzerland, to participate in World Economic Forum (WEF), held from January 19 to 23, 2026, under the theme "The Spirit of Dialogue."
Mohamed El-Shennawy, Official Presidential Spokesperson stated that the forum’s agenda includes a series of events involving heads of state, leaders of international and regional organizations, and representatives from major private sector institutions.
The sessions will address topics related to strengthening international cooperation, supporting global prosperity, expanding reliance on technology and innovation as drivers of growth, and investing in human capital.
The spokesperson noted that on the sidelines of the forum, President Sisi will meet with U.S. President Donald Trump.
Their discussions will focus on the latest regional and international developments of mutual concern, as well as ways to enhance cooperation and coordination between Egypt and the United States to serve the interests of both nations and promote regional and international stability
