President Abdel Fattah El Sisi arrived in Athens Tuesday evening, embarking on an official visit to Greece, Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady said.
The president will hold a meeting with Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and other senior officials on means of boosting economic and energy cooperation between the two countries.
Sisi will also review investment opportunities available in Egypt.
Sisi and Mitsotakis will exchange views on various regional and international issues of common concern, topped by the situation in the Eastern Mediterranean region, as well as combating terrorism and extremist ideology.
