Sisi Greets Egyptians, Muslims on Islamic New Year 1442

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi greeted Egyptians and the Muslim World on the Islamic New Year, 1442.

"I extend my sincere greetings to the Egyptian people and the Muslim nation on the occasion of the Islamic New Year," Sisi tweeted.

He added that "This blessed occasion, which brings along lofty, noble ideals that fill our hearts, commemorates the great message of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in a unique manifestation of the Holy Prophet’s good faith, determination and sincerity in nation-building and construction."

Egypt’s First Lady also extended greetings to Egyptians and the Muslim Nation on Islamic New Year.

"Today, we celebrate Al-Hijra, the Islamic New Year, which commemorates the lofty ideals and core principles of humanity in a unique manifestation of love, brotherhood, amicability and compassion amongst Muslim nations. Many happy returns of the day, great people of Egypt and the Arab and Muslim nation at large. Many a time and oft may the blessed occasion bring along ultimate goodness and blessings."
