President Abdel Fattah El Sisi met Wednesday with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly and Eng. Tarek El-Molla, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources to follow up the executive position of a number of projects in the petroleum sector.
The President directed the continuation of the implementation of the plan to connect natural gas to domestic housing units, especially in the villages included in the framework of the Decent Life Initiative, with the aim of facilitating the access of this service to citizens nationwide and facilitating them, according to Presidency Spokesperson Bassam Rady.
On his part, Molla reviewed the work and progress of the national project to deliver natural gas to homes, which succeeded in increasing the number of beneficiaries of this civilized service in various governorates of Egypt.
He also noted that the coming period will witness a qualitative leap in this activity through the Decent Life initiative, which helps improve the quality of life for citizens,
He presented, in this context, the current position of natural gas delivery to the initiative villages, in addition to the position of 14 villages that were selected as a pilot project within the initiative, with implementation rates reaching nearly 100%.
The Minister of Petroleum also reviewed the ongoing efforts to achieve the expansion and spread of stations that supply cars with natural gas, especially in vital areas with high traffic density.
