Sisi Follows up on Housing Projects Nationwide

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi met Wednesday with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, and Dr. Assem El-Gazzar, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities to follow up on the executive position of all housing national projects nationwide, according to Presidency Spokesperson Bassam Rady.

"Sisi tackled the executive position of all national projects of the Ministry of Housing nationwide, especially with regard to the New Administrative Capital and new cities, and the sectors of roads, utilities, and housing," said Rady.

The President asked the government to start the actual transfer to the New Administrative Capital, starting next December, for a transitional period of six months, after the end of the current stage of preparation for the headquarters and facilities of the Government District.

Sisi was also briefed on the latest developments in the work on the “Great Transfiguration over the Land of Peace” project in Sinai in the vicinity of Musa and Saint Catherine mountains. optimally, in appreciation of its unique spiritual value that stems from being the incubator of the three monotheistic religions.

The meeting witnessed a review of the position of projects within the New Administrative Capital, especially the position of utility works in the government district, as well as the various residential neighborhoods, and the financial and business district, as well as the coordination of squares and axes, and work in the Green River area.
