President Abdel Fattah El Sisi met Thursday with Engineer Mohamed Ahmed Morsi, Minister of State for Military Production, in order to discuss the executive position of the "Future of Egypt" project, according to Presidency Spokesperson Bassam Rady.
The meeting was attended also by Lieutenant General Mohamed Abbas Helmy, Commander of the Air Force, Major General Amir Sayed Ahmed, Adviser to the President of the Republic for Urban Planning, and Major General Mohamed Amin, Adviser to the President of the Republic for Financial Affairs.
“President Sisi was briefed on the work stages of the project axes in the Dabaa region, which aims to maximize agricultural production of major crops by reclaiming and planting parts of the Western Desert,” said Rady.

The Future of Egypt Projects aims to create many employment opportunities, as well as the promising opportunities it provides for agricultural investment in that region.
In this context, Sisi affirmed that coordination and cooperation should be strengthened between the various competent authorities to achieve the merit of the "Future of Egypt" project.
Rady noted that the project comes within the framework of the state's efforts to develop the agricultural production sector and related food and agricultural industries, stressing that “The project becomes an added value to the system of national projects in the field of agriculture and food across the country.”
