President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Saturday reviewed an executive plan for the national project to develop 1,000 villages nationwide according to Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady.
During his meeting with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli, the president was briefed on the list of proposed cities whose affiliated villages would be developed, including 50 cities across the country.
He directed the attendees to launch the project's first phase in January in cooperation with the bodies concerned.
