President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and the First Lady greeted Egyptians on 10th of Ramadan victory, stressing on "noble" lessons of this event.
"Every year, during the Holy month of Ramadan, we commemorate this day," Sisi tweeted on Monday.
He added "The victory of the 10th of Ramadan reminds us of the most noble meanings of sacrifice and patriotism, becoming a constitution and a way to contribute all that is inestimable and precious for the sake of the homeland’s prosperity and advancement."
"I extend my sincere greetings to the Egyptian people on this glorious occasion. I ask Allah Almighty to keep Egypt strong and for it to stand tall and resilient in the face of challenges. May Allah guide Egyptians to ways that lead to love and peace," Sisi noted.
On her part, First Lady Entissar El Sisi commemorated the victory's anniversary and wrote on her official Facebook account "On the occasion of commemorating the 10th of Ramadan victory, I extend my greetings to the people of Egypt and the Armed Forces. On this day, the sons of Egypt created an epic to defend the homeland and liberate it."
She added "This day will forever remain a symbol of pride, honor and dignity, luminously engraved in the heart of history. The glorious victory achieved by our Armed Forces will remain an inspiring lesson that reflects the Egyptian military genius in defeating the impossible."
On October 6, 2021, Sisi commemorated the 48th anniversary of October War Victory. He laid wreaths of flowers at the memorial of the Unknown Soldier and at the tombs of the two leaders, Anwar El-Sadat and Gamal Abdel Nasser.
“President Sisi also chaired on a meeting of the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces on the occasion of celebrating the 48th anniversary of the glorious October victories,” said Presidency Spokesperson Bassam Rady.
