President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and First Lady Entissar Amer sent their sincere greetings to Egyptian People on the 8th Anniversary of June 30 Revolution on Wednesday.

"The June 30 Revolution was not just a passing moment in which the Egyptians expressed anger, indignation, or resentment. Rather, it marks the highest means of expression about the strongest, the most established and the noblest fundamentals of Egypt, namely the sense of belongingness and loyalty to the homeland," Sisi posted on his facebook profile.

He added that "Today, as we celebrate the 8th anniversary of our glorious revolution, I send a precious message to all those who paid with their lives and sacrificed their souls as a price for rejecting extremism and terrorism, and I tell them: We will not forget you. You will always stay in our hearts. We are proud of you and we bow our heads in honor of your pure souls."Sisi, First Lady Greet Egyptians on June 30 Revolution Anniversary

Sisi added that "I also pay tribute to the great people of Egypt, who proved to the whole world that they are the most patient, sincerest, and most determined people and that they hold the strongest belief in their state and national institutions." Here are the Egyptian people proving to the whole world that they made the right choices and declaring a new republic with their endurance, patience, and ability to do the impossible and defeat challenges. May Allah save Egypt and its people until the Day of Judgment."

On her part, the First Lady "I congratulate the Egyptian people on the occasion marking the 8th anniversary of the June 30 Revolution. In a historical scene uniting all State institutions with all its inpiduals, sects, and spectra, the Egyptians have set a role model and an example to follow. Hence, they have proven once again the wisdom and ingeniousness of this honorable people. Many happy returns! May our dear Egypt live in safety, stability, and peace."
