President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received Finnish President Alexander Stubb, today, Tuesday, at Al-Ittihadiya Palace.
The two leaders held a session of talks focused on ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two friendly nations, as well as consultations on several regional and international issues of mutual concern.
Following the discussions, the two Presidents held a joint press conference.
During the joint press conference, Sisi welcomed his Finnish counterpart, praising the depth of relations between Egypt and Finland.
Moreover, both leaders emphasized the necessity of enhancing economic, trade, and investment cooperation, as well as encouraging mutual investments.
President Sisi noted that the Finnish President is accompanied by a high-level delegation of Finnish business leaders, highlighting that Egypt offers promising investment opportunities and has achieved unprecedented development in infrastructure projects.
He also underscored the importance of the strategic partnership between Egypt and the European Union, noting the constructive role Finland can play within this framework.
