Sisi Directs Gov't to Cope with Latest Technology in Media

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi instructed the government to cope with the latest technology in the media field and develop means of communications with all community segments to provide them will the right information from reliable sources.

Sisi's directives came on Saturday during his meeting with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli and Minister of State for Information Osama Heikal, Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady said.

The meeting reviewed the Information Ministry's strategy, which is based on adhering to the principles of media work, ensuring credibility and transparency in the media outlets, developing training systems for media cadres, and increasing the institutional capacity of various media outlets in dealing with local and international events.

Heikal also reviewed the ministry's vision to digitize the Egyptian media to draw up an advanced media system to benefit more Egyptian audiences.
