President Abdel Fattah El Sisi made a phone call to Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, in order to congratulate him on the historic peace step undertaken by the UAE, according to Presidency Spokesperson Bassam Rady.
"The UAE-Israel peace deal would advance the peace process efforts and open horizons for stability in the Middle East region," said Rady.
Sisi praised what was accomplished according to the agreement to halt Israel's decision to annex the Palestinian lands.

On his part, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed expressed the sincere gratitude of the UAE government and people for this gesture from the President and for the continuous Egyptian support for achieving security and stability in the region and for its pioneering efforts and historical contributions to peace in the Middle East region.
