In Pics: Sisi Commemorates 48th Anniversary of October Victory

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi commemorated Tuesday the 48th anniversary of October War Victory. He laid wreaths of flowers at the memorial of the Unknown Soldier and at the tombs of the two leaders, Anwar El-Sadat and Gamal Abdel Nasser.

“President Sisi chaired on Tuesday a meeting of the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces on the occasion of celebrating the 48th anniversary of the glorious October victories,” said Presidency Spokesperson Bassam Rady.

Sisi was accompanied by Lieutenant-General Mohamed Zaki, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production, and Lieutenant-General Mohamed Farid, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces in laying the wreath of flowers in Nasr City where military music was played as well.
