President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received, on Tuesday, a phone call from his Cypriot counterpart, Nikos Christodoulides.
The phone call came as part of the ongoing consultations between the two Presidents on the current developments in the Gaza Strip.
During the phone call, Sisi and Christodoulides agreed on the gravity of the situation, given the severity of the humanitarian repercussions on civilians as well as the ramifications of expanding the cycle of the conflict on stability in the region.
Moreover, Sisi reviewed Egypt’s unyielding efforts on the path to de-escalation and with regard to providing and delivering humanitarian aid to the people of the Gaza Strip.
