President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Tuesday called on the state institutions, the civil society, and the private sector for combating the phenomenon of bullying.
Addressing a celebration for the people with disabilities (PwDs) at Al Manara International Conference Center in Cairo, President Sisi said bullying should be combated whether by drafting legislation criminalizing such phenomenon, or confronting it through media outlets, or legal measures.

Sisi appreciated the exerted efforts for caring and empowering Egyptians with disabilities, Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady said.
The president expressed his pride in the Egyptians with disabilities' unprecedented success in many fields, a matter which proves their capability of overcoming challenges.

He pointed out that the state pays attention to boost PwDs' skills and competencies by offering training programs for them, urging to produce many programs and series which show the achievements and contributions.

Concerning the sports sector, the president called for providing qualified trainers at all sports facilities nationwide to deal well with the Egyptians with disabilities in line with launching programs to sponsor the talented and creative ones in various fields in cooperation with the private sector.
He inspected an exhibition for a medical convoy specialized in examining people with disabilities and got acquainted with its activity.

The president also toured another exhibition for breadwinner women of children with disabilities on the sidelines of a celebration for persons with disabilities at Al Manara International Conferences Center.
