President Abdel Fattah El Sisi voiced on Wednesday his deep appreciation for the German company Siemens achievements in implementing development projects in Egypt, Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady said.
In a meeting with President and Chief Executive Officer of Siemens AG Joe Kaeser, Sisi stressed that he is looking forward to benefiting from the company's expertise in new and renewable energy domains as well as power linkage projects.
Sisi also noted that Egypt seeks to draw on the company's experience in vocational training of Egyptian cadres.
On his part, Kaeser said the company is looking forward to developing its successful activities in Egypt on the back of the unprecedented achievements which Siemens realized during its fruitful cooperation with the Egyptian government.
Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli attended the meeting alongside Electricity Minister Mohamed Shaker and Executive Vice President for energy generation at Siemens Karim Amin.
