"Today, we celebrate the 74th anniversary of the glorious July Revolution, just days after commemorating the great June 30 Revolution. Invoking the memory of these national occasions is not merely an act of celebration; rather, it is an opportunity to renew our loyalty and appreciation to our heroes, evaluate past experiences, and draw lessons to avoid mistakes, build on achievements, and push our beloved Egypt toward a brighter future worthy of its esteemed standing among nations.
The orientations of the glorious July Revolution served as a beacon that illuminated the paths for nations across the Third World and ignited the torch of liberation throughout our Arab region and the African continent. Thanks to this revolution, Egypt reclaimed its sovereignty and consolidated the independence of its national decision-making—an independence that remains safeguarded, untouched, and unshakable.
To this day, we continue to derive lessons and wisdom from the experience of the July Revolution, particularly those pertaining to achieving social justice and building a strong state. We do not stop at conscious contemplation alone; we take proactive measures and constructively engage with the successes of that experience while learning from its setbacks. This enables us to proceed with deep understanding and awareness in constructing the New Republic—a modern, advanced, and powerful Egypt capable of preserving its people's rights and safeguarding its resources.
Since 2014, Egypt has embarked with unwavering determination and steadfast faith on a journey of comprehensive development and desired modernization fitting for its status and great people. We confronted and defeated terrorism without pausing our construction efforts. We consolidated freedom of belief, built places of worship, established modern infrastructure, eliminated informal settlements, built new cities, reclaimed deserts, and constructed traditional and renewable energy power plants. Furthermore, the State intensified its efforts to increase oil and gas discoveries, thereby enhancing its economic security and reinforcing its position as a regional energy hub.
In the same context, we have pursued relentless efforts to develop the education and healthcare systems. The State opened several world-class museums to reintroduce our ancient civilization to the world in its finest form. Tourism has also received special attention to bolster Egypt’s standing as a global tourist destination. Additionally, we are striving to localize industry to achieve the progress and prosperity to which we aspire.
Furthermore, the national initiative "Decent Life" (Haya Karama) was launched to enable millions of Egyptians to live in a civilized environment worthy of their human dignity. This initiative embodies the vision of a modern state that balances strength with justice, and development with freedom, steadily and confidently forging its path toward the future.
Egypt has persevered on its path despite severe surrounding circumstances, immense pressures, and unprecedented challenges in a region fraught with wars and successive crises that have—regrettably—devastated many of its states. Despite the severe economic losses incurred by the Egyptian state due to circumstances beyond its control, Egypt has remained firm in its approach and steadfast on its path, never deviating from its supreme goal of building the future and safeguarding the nation’s capabilities.
The State’s success in maintaining Egypt’s security and stability, and in overcoming the crises and challenges we have faced—and continue to face—could not have been achieved without the determination of the Egyptian people, their diligent work, patience, deep awareness of surrounding circumstances, and their firm commitment to the stability of the State against any threat targeting Egypt.
In this regard, I extend my deserved tribute to the proud Egyptian people, its valiant Armed Forces, the civil police, and all state institutions for their solidarity in confronting challenges and their adherence to the identity of the Egyptian state. I also pay special tribute to our righteous martyrs who sacrificed their lives in defense of the homeland, serving as beacons of light that illuminate our path of pride and dignity.
By the grace of Almighty God and thanks to its great people, no one can touch Egypt or compromise its capabilities. It is protected by God’s care, fortified by the awareness of its people, and safeguarded by the strength of its soldiers—remaining forever an impregnable fortress and a firm cornerstone for security and stability.
Amid the painful and harsh conditions sweeping the region, I direct two messages:
The First Message: A message of peace from a strong and peace-loving Egypt. I call upon the nations of the world to exert every effort to halt wars and conflicts, particularly in the Middle East, and to confront destructive tendencies aimed at perpetuating hatred, bloodshed, and destruction. I emphasize the necessity of continuous, earnest efforts to achieve a just peace that guarantees stability and prosperity for all peoples. The world is vast enough for everyone, and history has proven that violence brings only more violence, resulting inevitably in ruin and devastation.
I also reaffirm Egypt’s firm stance rejecting any aggression against brotherly Arab states. I urge all concerned parties to refrain from using force, exercise self-restraint, halt escalation, and return to the negotiation table to uphold the value of peace and safeguard the rights of all peoples.
The Second Message: A message of hope and optimism directed to the great Egyptian people. I assure you that what lies ahead—by God’s grace and guidance—is better. We are working diligently to build a promising future based on a scientific vision, confronting corruption in all its forms, and constantly striving for goodness and peace, trusting in God Almighty’s promise: 'Indeed, We do not allow to be lost the reward of any who did good in deed.'
In conclusion, I extend my heartfelt salutations to the leaders of the glorious July Revolution, to Egypt's proud army, its valiant police force, and to every Egyptian hand that builds and develops this nation."
