Single Performed by Late Zikra to be Released

Poet Bahaa El Din Mohamed announced releasing a new single for late iconic singer Zikra, media agencies reported on Sunday.

Entitled "Methaya'lak," the singer recorded the song shortly before her death, and it was preserved by the composer, Amir Abdel Magied.

Mohamed also posted a short part from the forthcoming single as a teaser, and the full track will be available in a few days.

Zikra was a Tunisian celebrated singer who was murdered 18 years ago; still the motive behind her murder is unclear.  She received more than 20 shots in her body, alongside her secretary, assistant and husband.

She left behind several unforgettable songs such as: "Mish Kol Hob," "Bahlam Beloa'ak," "Al Asami," "Kul Elli Lamouni."
