Shtayyeh Hails Egypt's Pivotal Role in Supporting Palestinian People's Rights

Palestinian Prime Minister (PM) Mohammad Shtayyeh affirmed Egypt's pivotal role in supporting rights and interests of the Palestinian people, especially efforts to achieve national unity.

This came during Shtayyeh's meeting with Egyptian Ambassador to Palestine, Ihab Suleiman, to discuss political developments in the Palestinian arena, in light of the continued aggression of the Israeli occupation against Palestinian people.

Moreover, the meeting reviewed the fruitful results of Palestinian PM's visit to Cairo, as well as and the visit of a delegation of Egyptian businessmen to Palestine to view investment opportunities.

On his part, Egyptian ambassador affirmed his country's readiness to provide all forms of support and aid to the Palestine and Palestinian people, to help them achieve their legitimate rights, in accordance with international resolutions and international law.
