Shoukry to Receive UN Special Envoy to Libya

Sameh Shoukry, Egypt's Minister of Foreign Affairs will receive on Saturday Ján Kubis, the United Nations Special Envoy to Libya to discuss ways of achieving stability in Libya and support its institutions.

The  session of talks will be held at the headquarters of the Ministry.

It is noteworthy that the foreign minister Sameh Shoukry had visited the Libyan city of Benghazi to follow up on the ongoing work to equip the Egyptian Consulate building there.

Earlier, Shoukry affirmed Egypt's full support for efforts to achieve security and stability in Libya, and the great interest it attaches to settling its crisis in a way that meets the aspirations of its people to move towards a better future, and to restore the country to its unity, sovereignty and desired stability under the banner of one comprehensive and prosperous homeland.
