Shoukry Receives Lebanese Counterpart

Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry received Today his Lebanese counterpart Charbel Wehbe Shoukry, according to Egyptian Foreign Ministry statement .

Shoukry expressed Egypt's full support for Lebanon in resolving the current stalemate that hinders the formation of a Lebanese government, emphasizing Egypt's vision to form a government of national competencies that elevates Lebanon's supreme interest, and that enjoys the support of the international community.

On his part, Wehbe discussed the current situation in Lebanon, expressing his country's great appreciation for the Egyptian role in political and economic support for Lebanon.

Noteworthy, Wehbe headed to Egypt to attend the extraordinary session of the Arab League Council that will be held at the level of foreign ministers on Monday to discuss the Palestine cause.
