Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry welcomed the Secretary-General of the United Nations, António Guterres in Egypt, praising the stances of the Secretary-General towards what is happening in Gaza and the suffering of the Palestinian people from unprecedented conditions.
Shoukry noted that the number of victims has risen to more than 32000 thousand martyrs in addition to a widespread famine.
Shoukry stressed during a joint press conference with the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, on Sunday, that UNRWA has an important and vital role in the necessity of dealing with the crisis, pointing out to the United Nations’ rejection of collective punishment and displacement of the Palestinian people.
