On Thursday, Egypt's Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry met his Cypriot counterpart Nikos Christodoulides in Athens, according to Foreign Ministry spokesman Ahmed Hafez.
They discussed ways to boost bilateral cooperation and exchanged views regarding various regional issues of common interests.
It is worth mentioning that, on Tuesday, Shoukry headed to Athens at an official invitation of his Greek counterpart Nikos Dendias to participate in a ministerial meeting on conditions in the Eastern Mediterranean and the Middle East.
