Shoukry Holds Talks with Japanese Counterpart

Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and his Japanese counterpart Motegi Toshimitsu, in the presence of the delegations of the two countries, held talks to discuss ways to enhance bilateral relations, and to exchange visions on the most prominent regional issues of common concern.

Shoukry received the Japanese Foreign Minister Monday at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Motegi is in a visit to Cairo, as part of a 10-day tour that includes 6 countries in the region, according to the Japanese Foreign Ministry.

The Japanese FM is expected to discuss a number of security issues, and ways of confronting  “Covid-19” pandemic.
