Minister of Foreign Affairs Sameh Shoukry headed to the Iranian capital Tahran to participate in the funeral of the late Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi.
The spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Ahmed Abu Zied said that Shoukry will represent Egypt at the funeral events of the Iranian President, foreign minister, and officials.
Abu Zied revealed that the minister will return to Egypt after participating in the funeral, asserting Egypt's solidarity with the Iranian people.
