Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry is traveling to Jeddah to participate in the ministerial meetings of the League of Arab States (LAS) members' foreign ministers.
The meetings are taking place ahead of the upcoming 32nd summit that will take place on May 19.
The Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ahmed Abo Zeid said that Shoukry will participate in the ministerial meetings for Arab foreign ministers that would kick off tomorrow.
The meetings will discuss the future law drafts, and decisions, along with the schedule of the upcoming summit's events.
In addition, the Egyptian minister will participate in some committee meetings that are concerned with various regional issues.
Abu Zeid concluded that the upcoming Arab Summit comes ahead with fierce and challenging developments in the MENA region which requires Arab states to continue their efforts to deal with them, wishing they can obtain security and stability for the Arab nations.
