On Thursday, Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry received his Greek counterpart Nikos Dendias.
Ambassador Ahmed Hafez, the spokesperson of the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs highlighted that both officials examined the continued cooperation between both states, in addition to several common-interest regional issues.
Hafez asserted that both ministries praised the strength and the deepness of Egyptian-Greek relations, moreover, they affirmed the necessity of enhancing the cooperation and coordination between Egypt and Greece in several military, political, trade, and energy fields.
Shoukry reviewed to Dendias the latest Egyptian role in easing the situation in Gaza, and the developments of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, and the efforts of reviving the process of peace. Furthermore, both discussed the latest updates in Medittrenean-related issues and Libya.
