Shoukry, Al-Jarba Discuss Syrian Crisis

On Thursday, Egypt's Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry received Head of "Al-Ghad" Syrian party Ahmed Al-Jarba, according to the ministry's spokesman Ahmed Hafez.

During the meeting, both sides discussed the latest developments in the Syrian crisis and ways to resolve it, based on UN Security Council resolution 2254.

In this regard, Shoukry affirmed Egypt's full support for all efforts aimed at reaching a comprehensive political settlement to the crisis, restoring Syria's security and stability, as well as fulfilling the aspirations of the Syrian people.
