Shoukri heads Egyptian Delegation at Beirut Economic Summit

CAIRO, Jan. 20 (SEE)- The foreign affairs minister Sameh Shoukri is heading the Egyptian delegation to participate in Beirut economic, social, and development summit on behalf of the president Abd El-Fattah El-Sisi.

The summit is held under the slogan "Human beings are the center of development: investing in human", under the frame of caring of the Arab people needs.

The table includes 29 items dealing with several issues in the economic and social fields, Arab food security is the most important item under the initiative of the Sudanese president, and this item includes 2 subjects one is about the emergency program of the Arab food security, the other is integration and trade in agricultural crops and livestock.

The Beirut summit schedule is discussing the Arabic free trade area and accomplishing the requirements for establishing a unified Arab customs union item, in addition to, Arabic strategy for sustainable energy 2030 item, and Arab common electricity Market item.

It also includes item about the challenges faced G.O.T.H agency and UNRWA, besides the strategic plan for development sectors in Al-Quds 2018-2022 item, as well 2 suggested items from Jordan Kingdom about the economic and social burdens of hosting Syrian refuges and the affection of the host country, there is a suggestion item from Lebanon about inserting Arabic vision in the digital economic field.

The table also containing important items for supporting women under the title "Pink wallet", the Arabic strategy to protect children in refugee status and children work in Arab countries items, and what comes new of business item.

Arab Youth and Arab Society forums sent their messages to the summit after the meeting that had been hold in Cairo.

It has suggested that the project will contain the Arab youth ministry decision about the 14th sports round will be hold in Lebanon 2021.
