Johnny Depp and his ex-wife Amber Heard has been engaged in battle courts since 2016.

Depp filed in March 2019 a $50 million lawsuit against Heard, alleging that her abuse allegations were false and saying they had cost him money and career opportunities.

Heard, in turn, accused her ex-husband by abusing drugs and alcohol, roughing her up and screaming at her, along with other claims of abuse, which she allegedly suffered throughout their 15-month marriage and four-year relationship.

Claims

An anonymous 911 call made on the night Johnny Depp and his ex-wife Amber Heard had the blowout fight that had put an end to their toxic marriage is released for the first time.

The recording was unearthed by the Daily Mail after it was kept in legal files for almost four years.

It was timestamped around 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 21, 2016, the call appears to have been placed on the night Heard claims Depp went ballistic, repeatedly hit her, hurled a cell phone at her face, ripped out her hair, choked, and nearly suffocated her.

A friend of Heard, who asked to remain anonymous had dialed 911, claiming that the actress was being ‘assaulted’ by her boyfriend.

“Hi, I need to report an assault right now happening at 849 Broadway at the Eastern building, it's penthouse three,” the female caller says in the recording, referring to the luxurious home the former couple previously shared in downtown LA.

“I happen to know that it's happening and I just need to remain anonymous,” she added.

“So what did she say that this guy assaulted her or hit her?” the LAPD operator replies, explaining she needs more detail.

“Physically assaulting her, yeah,” replies the caller ”Send somebody up there please,” the caller pleads, reiterating the location of the couple's penthouse before the call abruptly ends.

In retaliation, Depp lawyers claim that the 911 call raises questions about her allegations, as they point out that the female voice on the recording does not belong to iO Tillett Wright, Heard’s longtime friend, who has said he called 911.

“That call was recorded in police logs at around 10 p.m.”, Depp’s attorney said, alleging the difference was proof that Heard and her friends tried to frame the “Pirates of the Caribbean” star.

"It was quite clearly an ambush, a hoax. Via calling the cops they set Mr. Depp up but the first attempt didn't do the trick, "Adam Waldman told Daily Mail.

However, Heard's attorney rejected Waldman's claim as "fantasies."

"Mr. Depp's interpretations of the 911 calls on the May 21, 2016 night are misleading, and Mr. Depp and his attorneys should know better," Roberta Kaplan said.

An attorney for Wright said he called New York police and even had a pal from Los Angeles hired to dial 911.

The 911 call recording appears to have been submitted as evidence in the $50 million defamation lawsuit.

How it all Began?

Heard and Depp married in 2015 with both stars signing an NDAs barring them from discussing their relationship publicly.

Heard filed for porce on May 23, 2016, and obtained a temporary domestic violence restraining order against Depp, accusing him of abusing her, claims in which Depp had denied.

The former couple settled their porce out of court in August 2016 for $7 million, which she donated to charity.

Depp sued her in his $50 million lawsuit for defamation after she wrote an op-ed for the Washington Post in December 2018 in which she described being an alleged victim of domestic violence.

“During the entirety of our relationship, Johnny has been verbally and physically abusive to me,” Heard had claimed in 2016.

“He has a short fuse. He is often paranoid, and his temper is extremely scary for me, as it has proven many times to be physically dangerous and/or life-threatening to me.”

While she never mentioned Depp by name, the actor’s lawsuit called her allegations against him a “hoax.”

Abuse

Depp accused his ex-wife Heard of abusing him in his first declaration as part of his defamation lawsuit.

The actor had submitted a statement giving his first-person account of his relationship with the “Aquaman” actress in court documents.

“I have denied Ms. Heard’s allegations vehemently since she first made them in May 2016 when she walked into court to obtain a temporary restraining order with painted-on bruises that witnesses and surveillance footage show she did not possess each day of the preceding week,” Depp began. “I will continue to deny them for the rest of my life.”

“I never abused Ms. Heard or any other woman,” he added.

Depp had also claimed in his declaration that he had been the victim of abuse conducted by Heard.

“She was the perpetrator, and I was the victim,” he alleged. “While mixing prescription amphetamines and non-prescription drugs with alcohol, Ms. Heard committed innumerable acts of domestic violence against me, often in the presence of a third-party witness, which in some instances caused me serious bodily harm.”

Depp revealed that she “hit, punched, and kicked” him as well as repeatedly and frequently throwing objects into his body and head, including: “heavy bottles”, “soda cans”, “burning candles”, “television remote controls”, and “paint thinner cans,” which have severely injured him,

However, Heard’s lawyer Eric George denied the allegations against the actress, claiming that Depp was the one who “repeatedly beat” her.

Court papers have also revealed how Depp’s finger was severed in 2015. The actor revealed that the accident did not happen while he was partying with friends as was claimed, but rather because Heard was enraged that his lawyer had asked her to sign a post-nuptial agreement after the two had tied the knot in 2015.

“She went berserk and began throwing bottles at me,” Depp claimed. “The first bottle sailed past my head and missed, but then she threw a large glass vodka bottle.”

The actor stated that the bottle hit the countertop where he had his hand and caused his finger to shatter, ultimately severing his fingertip.

“I had to have 3 surgeries to reconstruct my finger and contracted MRSA three times,” he claimed. “I feared that I would lose my finger, my arm, and my life.”

In 2016, Depp said he sought a porce from Heard after an incident, after finding feces in his bed. He revealed that Heard admitted to their estate manager that the feces was “just a harmless prank.’”
