Sherine Teams Up with Ahmed Zaeem in New Song

Superstar, Sherine is working on a new song with singer-composer Ahmed Zaeem, the creator of her song “Howa Da”.

“The song, currently untitled, is by the lyrics of Hany Saro, and is set to be recorded in the coming days," Zaeem said in a statement.

Sherine’s latest artistic work is song, “Mesh Ad El Hawa”.

Mesh Ad El Hawa is by the lyrics of Mohamed Rahem, and composed by Mohamed El Ghonaimy.

On the other hand, Sherine is set to star in a new movie called “Cinderella”, which witnesses her return to the silver screen after 16 years of absence.

Sherine made her acting debut in 2003, co-starring in prominent actor Ahmed Helmy’s film “Medo Mashakil” (Medo is trouble).

In 2015, she co-starred in her first leading role in a TV series “Tariqi” (My Way), which achieved great success during its premiere in Ramadan.

The 39-year-old superstar talent was first discovered as a child by her music teacher at school, who convinced her mother to take her to the Cairo Opera House to meet veteran musician Selim Sahab.

Sherine auditioned in front of him, who liked her voice a lot. The singer had served as a choral member at the Cairo Opera House from the age of nine to twelve, and then she was given a chance to become a solo singer.

She kept performing at the Cairo Opera House while looking for a music producer to launch her professional career.

Sherine, 18, was introduced to director and music producer Nasr Mahrous, who he liked her talented voice and decided to collaborate with her via “Free Music” production company, where she met with superstar, Tamer Hosny, a who was also a new talent seeking an opportunity.

Her first recorded song released in 2002 as a part of the album that included works of other artists.

The album was released, by the title “Free Mix3: Tamer and Sherine” and was a big hit all across the entire Middle East and North Africa. The album sold more than 20 Million copies all across the whole MENA.

It was a big hit particularly because of her single song called “Ah ya Leil”, which boosted her fame.

In early 2000, she made a duet song called “Bahebak” with Mohamed Mohy, which achieved great success and boosted her fame.

That album was followed by “Garrh Tanee” which was released in 2003 and boosted her continues success.

The 39-year-old superstar is considered as one of Egypt’s and Middle East’s most talented voices.
