The 38-year-old superstar surprised her fans by announcing that she will shut down her accounts on Social Media after she was trolled online following her initiative to perform a concert in Lebanon.

“My heart is burning for our dear Lebanon, but in such situations, it is not enough, I’m ready to hold a ceremony where all the revenue will go to those affected by the fire." Sherine wrote on Twitter.

"I appeal to Prime Minister Saad Hariri for it to be under the auspices of his sovereignty," she added.

Abdel Wahab announced her initiative to sing in Lebanon and donate the concert revenue to those affected by the fire, which received a positive reaction from fans and fellow artists, headed by Ahlam.

A massive forest fire broke out early Monday morning in the Lebanese Chouf village of Meshref, which has left the country's lush mountains in flames.

It destroyed thousands of acres of land in Lebanon and engulfed forests starting from Mechref and spreading onto Kfarhbab, Nabatieh, Bnachii, Miziara, Jeita, Cornet El Hamra, Kfarmatta, Dabbieh, Damour, Chouf, Zaatari, Jounieh, and Mansourieh.

The wildfire has been described as the "worst to hit Lebanon in decades."

There was at least one casualty as a result of the wildfires, according to The Daily Star.

The fire has damaged the country's mountainous area, houses, and a special needs center non-profit organization "Arcenciel".

People have been sharing videos and photos of the devastating fire under hashtag #LebanonIsBurning.

"If the fires turn out to be intentional those behind it "will pay a price," "Hariri added "that an investigation will be opened to know what caused the fires."

Lebanon asked for international help after it struggled to contain forest fires that have spread across the country since Monday.
