Shereen Seif El Nasr Reacts to Lookalike's Viral Photos

A number of social media users have circulated on social media platforms photos of who they thought were actress, Shereen Seif El Nasr, despite the great difference between them.

The users had thought that the photos were of the actress’s latest appearance while she attends court to make statements in the theft of her jewelry case.

The photos showed the actress’s lookalike in large weight and wearing a galabeya and medical glasses, which blew the users away with her appearance as the actress was considered one of the beauty icons in Egypt and the Middle East.

El Nasr was keen to put an end to those who claim that the person in the photos was her.

“I have nothing to do with the photo,” she stressed in a statement.

“I am in long-time to London, visiting my brother, and will return to Cairo in the coming days,” El Nasr added.

The actress has made the headlines in July after a childhood friend had stolen her jewelry and gold and diamond objects artifacts from her apartment.

El Nasr is an Egyptian actress. She was born on November 27, 1967, to a Palestinian mother and an Egyptian father.

She graduated from the faculty Law in 1991 and lived in France for a couple of years.

Renowned writer and director Youssef Francis, met El Nasr in France, while she Working for the Egyptian Embassy and discovered her artistic abilities.

She made her acting debut in 1885 TV series “One Thousand and One Nights” (Alf layla wa-layla).

Thereafter, El Nasr co-starred in many soap operas, which notably is “Gadaboon and Gadeebat” (Angry men and angry women)“who does not love Fatima”, “Al-Less Allazi Ahboh” (the thief whom I Love), “El Mal We El Banon” (money and children).

She also starred in many movies such as “El noom fi el asal” (Sleeping in Honey), “Sawwaq el hanem” (The Lady's Driver), “Ameer El Zalam” (The Prince of Darkness).

The actress retired from acting at the end of 1996 after her marriage.

She made a comeback in 2001 after she got porced, to participate in several projects, including film “Ameer El Zalam” in 2002.

El Nasr co-starred in many projects with prominent actor Adel Emam such as play “Bodyguard”, film “Ameer El Zalam”, and “El noom fi el asal”.
