On Wednesday, Sheikh Meshal Al Ahmed El Gaber El Sabah had his swearing- in as Kuwait's new Emir before the Nation's House ( Kuwait Parliament).
In his first speech as Kuwait's Emir, he asserted that his country's policies towards regional and international issues, asserting the importance of Kuwait's commitments towards the Gulf states.
Al Sabah added that he will fight all kinds of corruption and will give care to the benefits of the citizens.
He also asserted that threats surround the country, therefore the nation should hold on to unity.
The newly Crowned Emir criticized the government and parliament, in addition, he suspended all kinds of hiring for office jobs in the administrational and governmental roles for three months.
Early this week, Sheikh Nawaf Al Sabah, the Emir of Kuwait, passed away, and he was succeeded by Sheikh Meshal Al Sabah.
